I was born and raised here in Shelby and just as this small city feels like home, I want this salon to feel like home for every one of our clients. On my first day of cosmetology school everyone laughed at me because I told them why I was there: “Hair sounds fun!” I’ve been a stylist since 2008 and I’ve loved every minute. My favorite part of seeing my clients is asking them how they are and truly meaning it. I care, and that makes me different. If anyone knows me they know I’m a music loving concert-goer. I like everything from Matchbox 20 to KORN!

I’ve been a professional stylist since 2000. Every day is about making my clients feel joy in themselves. I crave the opportunity to create, and it’s a blessing to blend my passion with my career. My clients trust me – both with their hair and their friendship. I am a nature girl and I love my three cats (Charlie, Molly, Mikey) and two sugar gliders (Rosie and Romeo). I grew up in Shelby so it’s exciting to find a salon that has this level of professionalism and excitement right here in my hometown.

My grandmother was an artist her whole life, and since I was a little girl I’ve always loved embracing my creative side. I love this career because when someone is in my chair it’s like they’re escaping the real world. I help people every day feel great, look great, and get back into their lives with renewed vigor. Also, I have a husband named Thomas and a shitzu is named Belle and I love them both!
